What is MS glue?
MS glue (modified silane polymer) is one-component, room-temperature moisture-curing, high-performance sealing/adhesive material that combines the advantages of silicone sealant and polyurethane glue: solvent-free, low odor, paintable, high adhesion and excellent weather resistance. It is widely used in construction (windows, doors and curtain walls), industrial assembly, automotive, marine and home improvement applications.
Key Features of MS Glue
- Solvent-free, isocyanate-free, environmentally friendly and pollution-free
- No byproducts (such as alcohol or acetic acid) are produces during curing, and it is virtually odorless
- Excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates (glass, metal, plastic, wood, etc.)
- Excellent weather and UV resistance
- Paintable, a feature not found in silicone sealant
- Excellent elasticity, suitable for sealing, waterproofing and structural fixing

MS Glue Production Line Equipment Configuration
1. Raw material metering / batching system
2. High speed emulsifier
3. Double planetary mixer
4. Vacuum system
5. Automatic elitration system
6. Filling machine
7. Finished product storage tank
MS Glue Production Process
Raw material preparation and weighing → Powder pre-dispersion & pre-wetting → High speed dispersion / homogenization → Vacuum mixing and degassing → Constant temperature → Cooling and viscosity adjustment → Filtration and online testing → Filling and packaging → Finished product inspection and warehousing

Notes when producing MS glue:
- Vacuum: Typically -0.08 to -0.095MPa (sufficient to remove air bubbles).
- Mixing temperature: Room temperature to 60℃ (depending on the formulation, most MS glue are mixed at room temperature to avoid side reactions caused by high temperature).
- Speed/shear force: Select variable speed control based on material viscosity to ensure thorough dispersion without introducing excessive air bubbles.
- Solid content: Controlled by the finished product formula (usually around 85% or as required by the formula).
- Filling temperature / viscosity: Ensure the filling viscosity is within the acceptable range (for easy filling without runny material).
